Installed the emulator on a new PC today... set to loop anutmatically. It runs through once, then gives me the following bug report: Any ideas?? Thanks! Hi Bossjock, Can you post your config.dat file (you should be able to findd that file under Windows Search) immediately after that happens? That would really help us. Thanks! -------------------- Gilbert Sebenste

Hi Bossjock, Can you post your config.dat file (you should be able to find that file under Windows Search) immediately after that happens? That would really help us. Thanks! Also, please make sure you have the latest OPTIONAL patches from Windows Update. There are a number in there which fix some pretty serious problems. Of course, make sure all important/critical ones are installed as well. -------------------- Gilbert Sebenste

Of course, make sure all important/critical ones are installed as well. Never mind... I ended up having to reformat and reinstall Windows. That seemed to do the trick... it is working like a champ now. Thanks anyway for the help. Oh... and sorry about posting in a new thread... I didn't notice the correct one until I had already posted. Oops! I'll be more attentive next time. |

ArgumentOutOfRangeException is thrown when a method is invoked and at least one of the arguments passed to the method is not null and does not contain a valid value. Don't trust me on the following part, though. I believe that it is a NWS error. You can see that it is looking at astronomical data which it download. So, I think that it is caused by a NWS error. The bytecount non-negative number required error is a bug in the .NET 1.1 framework. No way to fix, just have to live with it until v3

^Yep, same error I got today for that exact same zone ID. Judging from a previous post I would say "SUNSHINE FILTERED THROUGH HIGH CLOUDINESS" is what the emulator didn't parse. This would also explain the missing Chicago forecast in the TCF segment.

I got this error this morning around 4am. It is around this time of day that I get a message about NWS data being out of date or corrupt. It ends up being blank - local forecast/extended forecast/regional forecasts are all blank understandably. However, this is the first time I have gotten this error. It occurred at the end of one execution cycle with the playlist/music disabled (I run it overnight with the music off). It crashed at the end of the first run instead of looping as I normally do.
