Emulator support forum guidelines
Do not create off topic threads in forums which are intended for a specific topic. (Bug reports, suggestions, tech support)

Do not post inflammatory remarks or insults to other board members.

NO personal attacks or namecalling of other members

Do not curse excessively.

No Spam. Unlike the other guidelines, if this one is breached it will be an instant and permanent ban.

Duplicate accounts are not permitted, especially when done to circumvent punitive measures. All duplicate accounts will be deleted on sight, and the offending account issued a warning.

WARNING POLICY

A member who is found to be in violation of board guidelines will be subject to a warning. All warnings are accompanied by a message explaining why the warning was issued.

Warning percentages:

Strike one - Your first warn will result in a 33% warning level. The consequence of this will be your account being put on moderator preview for a period of one week from the warning issue time.

Strike two - A 67% warning level will result in an immediate seven day suspension from the board along with a one month period of your account being on moderator preview, effective from the warning date.

Strike three - A 100% warning level results in a minimum one month suspension from the board with possible permanent ban depending on the situation. Those permitted to return will be subjected to, at minimum, a one month moderator preview period.

Each warning carries a 33.33% level with it. After one month, the warning will drop off the meter.

What moderator preview means

If it seems like nobody can see your posts, and their background shows up in a grayish color, then your account is on moderator preview. What this means is that while you can see your post, nobody else can until one of the moderators approves your post. If a moderator rejects your post, it will be deleted without any of the members having seen it.

This is one of the punitive measures in place on the forum as a consequence for violating the board guidelines.
